Matty has been a passionate supporter of Sunday for Sammy for many years (it’s in his blood!!), helping us shine a spotlight on home-grown talent, inspiring the next generation of North East performers and proudly championing the legacy of this beloved charity celebration.
The secret was let out of the bag during Matty’s Q&A with the brilliant students of Gateshead College – our proud CoLab partners – further strengthening our relationship with the future of the creative arts industry.
Matty surprised students with an engaging Q&A, sharing music industry insights and taking photos along with our Chair Tim Healy and Ray Laidlaw. This visit perfectly highlights the mission of the Sunday for Sammy Trust: supporting the next generation of North East creative talent with essential grants.
