A very special night is coming to the North Shields Fish Quay this September, as The 9075 & Friends bring their acclaimed tribute to The 1975 to the Salt Market Social all in support of the Sunday for Sammy Trust.

Fresh from making international headlines, the Italy‑based band recently performed a 45‑minute secret set for our Patron Matty Healy’s stag do in Malibu, where Matty himself joined the band on stage! Organised by Matty's younger brother and fellow Sunday for Sammy performer Louis Healy and Matty's then fiancée, now wife, Gabbriette as a surprise for Matty and the band. Their appearance has sparked global attention and a surge in demand, making this North East date something truly special.

Now, they’re heading to Tyneside for an exclusive fundraiser gig, echoing the spirit of our Matty & Friends moment from the arena show and bringing their high‑energy, detail‑rich recreation of The 1975’s live sound to a local stage.

Their relationship with Sunday for Sammy goes far beyond the headlines, the band have become regular visitors to North Shields often calling into the charity’s office above the Low Lights Tavern and, of course, for the legendary Low Lights pies. Their long‑held wish to stage a fundraiser for the Trust is now becoming a reality.

The 9075 are the world’s first tribute dedicated to the music of The 1975, touring extensively across the UK and Europe. But for the band, this North Shields fundraiser carries deeper meaning. As Front Man Carlo says, “Being part of a Sunday for Sammy event is a genuine honour for us… having the opportunity to contribute to the charity feels particularly meaningful.”

Look out for surprises on the night, including support from a rising North East band Leopard Print who recently received a Sunday for Sammy grant, a perfect example of how your ticket directly supports emerging local talent.

Why This Gig Matters

Every ticket sold helps the Sunday for Sammy Trust continue its mission: supporting performers, creators, and young talent across the North East. This show brings together music, community, and the charity’s long‑standing connection with the Healy family.
